Shift scheduling for Puerto Rico businesses

HorariosPR builds and checks the monthly shift schedule of your business, and each employee sees it on their phone. It is made in Puerto Rico, with Puerto Rico's holidays and labor rules in mind.

The app, its help center and the demo are in Spanish. This page is the only one in English.

What it does

  • Builds the schedule. "Crear horario" fills the month (or the week) with your shifts, your team and your rules. Nothing changes until you accept it.
  • Checks it. Turn on the rules your business uses: weekly hours, days in a row, rest between shifts, the meal period and more. Red is an error; yellow, a warning.
  • Each employee sees it on their phone. Only the published schedule: their shifts, who they work with and their weekly hours.
  • Call-outs and swaps. An employee taps "No puedo llegar" (I can't make it) or asks a coworker to swap. The manager approves.
  • WhatsApp. The manager sends each person their schedule: WhatsApp opens with the message already written, and she taps Send.

Built for Puerto Rico

  • Puerto Rico holidays. When a month has one, the app asks if you open, close or need a different crew that day.
  • Local labor rules as checks. The meal period of Act 379 is a rule you can turn on; you decide which rules apply. Before publishing, you see an overtime estimate: over 8 hours a day or 40 a week, and the seventh day in a row.
  • Several locations. If someone works at two of your locations, their weekly hours are added together.
  • Pharmacies, restaurants, dispensaries, stores and clinics. Role names come ready for each type of business, and you can rename them.

HorariosPR checks the schedule against the rules you turn on. It does not run payroll and it is not legal advice.
